Hizbullah commander's execution proves the resistance's unity: Nakhalah

The leader of Islamic Jihad believes that the execution of Wissam al-Tawil, the senior Hezbollah commander, clearly shows how the forces of the Axis of Resistance are working together to free the holy city of al-Quds from Israeli rule.

According to a reliable source in Lebanon, Wissam Tawil was the commander of Hezbollah's elite Radwan forces and the most senior Hezbollah official to be assassinated in the battle.

He also played a key role in leading the organization's activities in the south of Lebanon.

Since October 7, more than 130 Hezbollah fighters including members of Radwan have been also martyred in the fighting, sparking a war that has spread throughout the area.

"Hajj Jawad Wissam al-Tawil performed a significant and leading role in the journey of Resistance against Israel, especially as regards the heroic operations of Hezbollah combatants in southern Lebanon against the Zionist enemy in defense of Lebanon, Palestine and resilient people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank," the report said.

Ziyad al-Nakhalah underlined that the planned assassination of the senior Hezbollah commander and his trusted companions shows clearly that the Axis of Resistance's forces are allied in their goal to free al-Quds City from the control of the regime in Tel Aviv.

In another statement, the Islamic Jihad movement extended its heartfelt condolences to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah over this terrible happenstance.

"The martyred Resistance commander played an important role in many stages of the struggle against the Zionists, was devoted to Palestinians, and had unwavering faith in their cause."
