India: Stampede At Maha Kumbh festival Killed 39 Devotees

New Delhi, India —  At least 39 pilgrims were killed and 60 more were injured in a stampede at the Kumbh Mela, also called the Maha Kumbh Mela, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday dawn, according to the government.   Between 1:00 and 2:10 a.m. local time, the crowd overrun those who were waiting to take a holy dip in the river, according to a senior police officer. Hindu holy day of "Mauni Amavasya," around 100,000,000 people came together in Prayagraj town to take a sacred bath at the confluence of three rivers: the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati.   As they transported victims from the disaster scene, rescue workers had to go through piles of footwear, clothes, and other items.  Police were spotted carrying stretchers with victims' bodies shrouded in heavy blankets. Sindh Govt's Dhabeji Special Economic Zone Project Would Create 100,000 Jobs

KARACHI, Sindh — (Daily Post) - Chinese and local businessmen have agreed with the Sindh government to establish the "Dhabeji Special Economic Zone" in the Sindh'sThatta district. 6 killed In Multan After liquefied Petroleum Gas Tanker Explosion

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan  — (Daily Post)- Multan Police said on Monday that a truck carrying liquefied petroleum gas caught fire and blew up yesterday night in an industrial area in Multan, killing 6 people and injuring 38 others. The explosion shattered the windows and roofs of adjacent houses, as well as damaged material inside the dwelling.  Although the on-site situation has been under control, nearby residences have been temporarily evacuated as a precaution.  There was no clear indication of the cause of the purported explosion.  Multan Deputy Commissioner said the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority had also been brought in for the rescue services.  The fire was effectively put out by rescue teams.  The victim's identity could not be determined immediately. Pakistan: Junaid Akbar Replaces Ali Amin Gandapur As PTI KPK President

  ISLAMABAD, Pakistan   — Ali Amin Gandapur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's chief minister, has been ousted as president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's KPK region as part of an important change in the party,  PTI press secretary reported Saturday.  A senior PTI  leader and member of the National Assembly (MNA) Junaid Akbar, has been elected as PTI president of the KPK position on the recommendation of imprisoned PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. During a meeting in Adiala Jail, PTI founder and Pakistani former P.M. Imran Khan, Atif Khan, Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar, and Mian Farhat Abbas decided to remove Ali Amin Gandapur from his post as president of KPK. Pakistani Military Ramped-Up Counter-Insurgency Operations, Killing 30 Terrorists

  ISLAMABAD, Pakistan  — Thirty terrorists were killed in multiple Counter-Insurgency Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on January 24–25, 2025, ISPR reported.  Security forces executed one of three intelligence-based operations in the Lakki Marwat district.    In the operation, soldiers successfully attacked the insurgents' site, killing 18 and injuring 6 more. District Karak was the second location to launch an intelligence-based operation, according to the ISPR leaflet.  Eight terrorists were successfully eliminated by the security personnel in the following shootout.  About 4 terrorists, including ring commanders Aziz ur Rehman Qari Ismail and insurgent Mukhlis, were killed by the military soldiers in a third encounter near Bagh in Khyber District. 2 Khwarijs were injured. Train Incident in West India Killed 12 Passengers

At least 12 people were killed in a rail accident in Maharashtra, western India, on Wednesday. The terrible tragedy began when passengers got out of their train, believing a fire, but were hit by another train on the right next track, according to local media reports.  The train stopped at a stop when someone triggered the alarm chain, railway authorities reported to local media. After that, numerous people disembarked on the adjacent tracks and were run over by another passing train. "As per the reports, 12 people were killed in the accident and 5 others are injured,". After the tragedy at Pachora, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis expressed his sadness on X, posting that he was deeply shocked by the tragic loss of lives."  The Maharashtra chief minister also promised to pay for the injured people's medical bills and offered 500,000 in compensation to the relatives of each deceased person.

Iranian General Makes Strategic Visit To Pakistan

General Asim Munir, Pakistan's army chief, HAD invited Iran's top general to visit Pakistan for two days. He is scheduled to meet with senior Pakistani military leaders, as well as the president, prime minister, and defense minister. Major General Mohammad Bagheri, thinks that the Islamic Republic and Pakistan's military and security relations are becoming better with each passing day. General Mohammad Bagheri, who arrived in Islamabad on Sunday, told reporters that "we have witnessed significant developments in the region over the past year, where Iran and Pakistan, as two Islamic nations, are located in the historically important regions of West and South Asia." Junta Massacred Scores Of Muslims In Myanmar

At least 43 civilians were killed and 52 injured after airstrikes carried out by Myanmar's military junta targeted the village of Kyauk Ni Maw in Ramree Town in the Rakhine state.  Kyauk Ni Maw, a mostly Muslim hamlet in Myanmar, was bombarded by military junta warplanes on June 8th, 2025. Over 502 dwellings were torched by fires produced by the aircraft bombardment, which also caused considerable damage and destruction to the region.  Locals claim that many of the deceased were women, children, and senior citizens.  The Arakan Army (AA), an armed group based in Western Rakhine, controls the targeted village.  The Arakan Army, commonly known as the Arakha Army, is an ethno-nationalist armed group located in Rakhine State (Arakan). Founded in April 2009, the AA is the military branch of the United League of Arakan (ULA). The junta and the AA are fighting to control Rakhine, where the AA has already taken large land areas in the past year.

126 Killed In Tibet Quake

Tibet —  (Daily  Post) -  According to CCTV, the devastating earthquake that struck China's remote Tibet region at approximately 9:00 AM on Tuesday has claimed at least 126 lives. The Xigaze City, also known as the Shigatse City officials said that more than 29,000 families have been moved, hundreds of stuck people have been rescued and more than 3,600 houses have collapsed. The earthquake's 7.1-magnitude tremors affected adjacent countries, India and Nepal.  China's state network CCTV displayed images and photographs of the enormous destruction caused by the quake, including walls being ripped apart, houses being reduced to rubble, and debris being spread all over the ruins.  

India:13 Dead After Naval Boat Rammed Into Passenger Ferry

INDIA, New Delhi — (Daily Post) - The Indian naval speedboat collided with a mini passenger ship conveying more than 100 passengers to a well-known tourist spot off the coast of Mumbai on Wednesday, killing at least 13 people, according to the navy.  The Indian Navy reported in a statement that 99 ferry passengers were rescued. When the speedboat swerved and rammed into the ferry "Neelkamal," passengers were en route to Elephanta Island.  The Indian Navy issued a statement expressing grief for the "shocking loss" of life caused by a speedy boat accomplishing engine tests losing control and colliding with a civilian ferry.  One naval service member and a couple workers of an equipment company participating in the testing were among the 13 people declared dead by doctors, according to the naval and government officials. China To Build Medical City In Sndh's Dhabeji Special Economic Zone

SINDH, Pakistan — (Daily Post)- A Chinese business delegation has shown an interest in investing $1 billion in Thatta's Dhabeji Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to create a medical city.  12 large Chinese enterprises joined Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, on a visit to the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone. The Sindh government has approved the scheme. During the meeting, Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh, highlighted that the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone is a CPEC priority project.  Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar says that Sindh has a lot of appealing investment opportunities. Afghan minister, Khalil Haqqani killed In suicide Attack

KABUL, Afghanistan  — (Daily Post) -  Khalil Haqqani, Afghanistan's minister for refugees, was killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul, Afghan state television said yesterday. Khalil Haqqani, Minister for Refugees, was killed on Wednesday when an assailant entered the ministry's Kabul headquarters and blew himself up, according to a news report.  However, the Afghan local news source said that the explosion was a suicide attack and that Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani was heading toward the mosque when it happened.  Jalaluddin Haqqani, the founder of the Haqqani network, has a brother named Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani. Sirajuddin Haqqani, the current interior minister, is also his uncle.  Anas Haqqani, Khalil-ur-Rehman  Haqqani's nephew acknowledged the death.  The Islamic State claimed responsibility for a suicide attack that assassinated Afghanistan's refugee minister in his Kabul office, according to a  terrorist watchdog Website.

Pakistani Military Eliminates 22 Militants In KPK

  ISLAMABAD, Pakistan —  On December 6-7, 2024, the Pakistani military perished 22  terrorists  in separate anti-terrorist operations carried out successfully in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.  The Security Forces launched an intelligence-based operation in the Tank District's general Gul Imam region following reports of insurgent illegal activity. 9 terrorists were killed and others 6 were injured as a result of Pakistani troops' successful military operation.  Another Security Forces operation in the North Waziristan District resulted in the successful neutralization of Ten Khwarij.  Security forces thwarted terrorists from storming a security force post in Thall District and killed three Khwarij in a third military confrontation.  However, six courageous earthly sons accepted martyrdom by giving their lives in the fierce fighting.

Pakistan: Over 55 Martyred After Gunmen Went On Deadly Shooting Rampage In KPK

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — (Daily Post) - More than 55 people were killed and 22 injured when gunmen opened fire on passenger vehicles carrying Shiite citizens in northwest Pakistan on Thursday.  The militants attacked the vehicles in Kurram, a district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, that borders Afghanistan and has experienced fatal sectarian clashes in recent years.  According to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, terrorists opened fire on a convoy traveling from Parachinar to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's capital, Peshawar.  After the horrific tragedy, Naqvi spoke with Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who has been striving to resolve the sectarian violence that has cost hundreds of Pakistani lives this calendar year.  As of right now, no group has taken responsibility for the shooting.  Gandapur, KPK's Chief Minister, expressed condolences to the deceased families and pledged financial help for the victims' relatives.  Security ...

A Massive Blast Rocks 3-Story Building In Germany Leaving 2 Dead

BERLIN, Germany — (Daily Post) - On Thursday morning, a potential explosion in a residential building in Germany killed two people and injured one. Quarrels  between residents sparked the incident in a three-story building in Esslingen, Baden-Wurttemberg.    Authorities additionally said that an air ambulance was employed to transport the injured man to the hospital. Pakistani Forces Eliminated 12 Terrorists In Separate Operations

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - (Daily Post)- The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Wednesday that security forces killed 12 terrorists in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan and Balochistan's Kech region.  The first operation, which was carried out on November 12-13 in Miran Shah, North Waziristan, was designed to target terrorists.  As a result, 8 terrorists were eliminated, and six were injured, with more cleaning efforts underway to clean up the region. In another operation in Kech, Balochistan, security forces killed four militants, including Sana alias Baru, the Majeed Brigade's chief recruiter.  The Pakistani military emphasized eradicating terrorism and ensuring regional stabilization and peace.

Dozens Killed In Pakistan After A Bus Plunged Into River

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan— (Daily Post)- On Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM, a passenger coaster carrying wedding party guests from Parishing, Astore, to Chakwal went off the bridge and plummeted into the river near Thalichi.  The groom and his mother are among the 26 persons who died as a result of the catastrophe.  According to authorities, just 14 victims' corpses were retrieved and brought to the Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. Rescue efforts are still ongoing, and the only survivor, the wounded bride was taken to the hospital for treatment.   The coaster hosted 27 people, and only the bride survived rest of the others drowned in deep water.  The Pakistani town of Thalichi is situated in the Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.  President Mr: Asif Ali Zardari conveyed his sympathies and sadness to the victims' families.   

35 Killed, 43 Injured As Car Ran Over Crowd In China

Beijing, China — (Daily Post)-   A mentally depressed man smashed a car into a crowd in Zhuhai City, China, killing at least 35 people and injuring 43 more, a Police officer said.   On Monday evening, a terrible incident occurred outside a sports complex in Zhuhai, a city in southern China. The probing report claims that Mr. Fan, 62, crashed his vehicle into a stadium in Zhuhai after running over groups of people exercising on the sports track.  Investigators say the 62-year-old driver, known as Mr Fan, is believed to be upset over the divorce agreement. As soon as the incident happened on Monday night in Zhuhai, southern China, police apprehended the 62-year-old assailant and took him to the hospital for self-inflicted knife injuries.  43 wounded people are being treated at a neighboring hospital, and their health is not in danger. 

Blast Rattled Quetta Railway Station, Killing Dozens

MIDDLE EAST NEWS — (Daily Post) -   A suicide bomb tore through the Quetta railway terminal on Saturday, killing at least 26 people and injuring many more. According  to  Balochistan  Levies  and Quetta Civil Hospital officials an explosion at the railway station in Quetta, southern Pakistan, killed at least 26 people and injured over 65 more.  A preliminary investigation report said the incident occurred on the platform as passengers were waiting for the Jafar Express, which was set to depart for Peshawar at 9:05 a.m. Police and other law enforcement rescue teams rushed to the scene when they heard about the explosion.  Victims' dead corpses and injured were transported to Quetta Civil Hospital shortly after the horrific incident.  A bystander said that he could see steel nails and bolts strewn at the place of the blast.  The explosion's high severity demolished the station's roof and commercial stalls.  No other identifying information...

Pakistan: Gun Fight Left 5 Terrorists Killed & 4 Soldiers Martyred

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan  — (Daily Post) -  At least 5 terrorists were killed and 4 Pakistani soldiers were martyred in an attack on the Pakistani army.
