Russian Jet Carrying 65 Ukrainian Prisoners Crashed In Belgorod region

Russian Defense Ministry said, "  Kyiv regime shot down the aircraft in an attempt to blame the deaths of the Ukrainian Captives on Russia".   According to Sputnik, a Russian Air Force IL-76 Jumbo jet carrying 65 Ukrainian captives who were to be swapped, crew, and accompanying people, crashed in Russia's Belgorod area.   "At around 11:00 Moscow time [08:00 GMT], an IL-76 plane crashed in the Belgorod region during a scheduled flight."  There were 65 arrested Ukrainian military personnel on board, taken to the Belgorod region for exchange, 6 aircraft crew members, and 3 other individuals.    "A Russian air force commission flew to the crash site to investigate the causes of the disaster," the ministry reported.    In connection to the IL-76 disaster in Belgorod, Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, said that an appeal be prepared for the US Congress and the Bundestag.  "Ukrai...

Scores killed After Ukrainian Strikes Hit Russian City Belgorod

Authorities in Russia said that after Ukraine's aerial assaults on Belgorod, 21 people were killed and over 100 were injured.  3 children were among the dead, according to the local government, in one of the bloodiest attacks since the conflict started.  According  to a source close to the Russian Investigative Committee, missiles fired from numerous launchers in Ukraine's Kharkiv region damaged a skating rink on the major Cathedral Square, a shopping complex, and residential structures.  The daily Kommersant reported this information. Ukraine claims Russian Black Sea Fleet commander killed

Ukraine claims that the Russian Black Sea division commander was killed in a missile strike   Ukraine said on Monday that it had carried out its first missile attack, killing the commander of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.  Ukrainian special forces said Viktor Sokolov and 33 other officers were killed in the peninsula of Crimea in Friday's attack. " Following the attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters, 34 officers were killed, including the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet," the Ukrainian side stated on Monday, adding that over 100 additional Russian officials were injured.  An officer reportedly went missing as a result of the Ukrainian onslaught on Sevastopol, according to reports from Moscow.
