USA: Mississippi Shooting Left 5 Dead

Four people were killed in gun violence in Mississippi, and a possible suspect was found dead

The USA,(Daily Post). Local media reported another shooting, this time in Mississippi, in which four people were killed and the suspect was found dead.

Authorities said Wednesday that the possible suspect in the fatal shooting of the owner and two employees of a Mississippi Gulf Coast local hotel, as well as the subsequent death of a person shot during a carjacking, was found dead after a standoff with police.

Jeremy Alesunder Reynolds, 32, was identified as a possible suspect by Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer.

As per the incoming chief of the Gulfport Police Department, Adam Cooper, Reynolds holed up at a Gulfport convenience store after fleeing a stolen vehicle.

Gulfport is located just west of Biloxi, where the shootings at the Broadway Inn Express motel occurred.

Switzer told news outlets that the victims were motel owner Mohammad Moeini, 51, Laura Lehman, 61, and Chad Green, 55. Both Lehman and Green resided and worked at the local hotel.

Shortly after the hotel shootings, another man was shot during a carjacking in Gulfport and died in surgery, police said. Switzer identified him as 52-year-old William Waltman.

According to Cooper, police used tear gas at the store where Reynolds was being held.

Cooper said that after attempting to speak with her and receiving no response, police went to the store and discovered her body. To determine how he died, an autopsy will be performed.
