Pakistani FM, Bilawal laid the cornerstone for the new embassy in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari laid the cornerstone for Pakistan's new embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday.

Fuad Hussein, deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Iraq attended the groundbreaking ceremony. 

Ahmed Amjad Ali, the Pakistani ambassador to Iraq, and Hamid Abbas lafta, the Iraqi ambassador, both attended the ceremony.

At that time, Bhutto expressed a positive assessment of the complex which houses the Pakistani embassy in Baghdad.

Foreign Minister Bhutto visited the shrine of Imam Musa Kazin A.S earlier Yesterday.

He made a special trip to the Imam Musa Kazim shrine where he planted a seedling on the sacred shrine's grounds.

Bilawal Bhutto was accompanied by Pakistan peoples party (PPP) leader Faisal Karim Kundi, Sindh's transport minister Sharjeel Memon, Sindh's local government minister, Syed sain nasir hussain shah, PPP leader Nadeem Afzal chan, PPP minister Mukesh Chawla, and Qasim Naveed Qamar during shrine visit. 




Today, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan People's Party leader, and Foreign Minister, visited Imam Hussain and Abbas Alamdar Shrines.





At the grave of Imam Hussain, Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari performed prayer and prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan.




 In a bid to boost bilateral trade volumes, foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Tuesday that the current level of trade is not up to par with the huge potential with Iraq. 

 Addressing the Pakistan-Iraq business council in Baghdad, he said the $20 million deal reached during the Pakistan country exhibition in March 2022 demonstrated the strong business potential between the two countries.

He expressed confidence that the Pakistan-Iraq trade forum would provide comparable opportunities for G2G (government-to-government) relations and trade networking between potential investors and trading partners of the two countries.

In five priority areas, including information technology, food security, energy, construction, and medicine, Bilawal emphasized the need for increased cooperation and joint investment.

184 Killed In Haiti Over Practicing Black Magic

Port-au-Prince, Haiti — A human rights group claims that gang members in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, killed at least 184 people, the majority of victims were elderly. A local gang leader reportedly targeted them because his kid became unwell and eventually passed away, according to the National Human Rights Defence Network (RNDDH). Reports further added that the gang leader sought counsel from a traditional priest, who attributed the boy's mysterious ailment to a "magical activity" by elderly neighbors. The United Nations reports that gang violence in Haiti has escalated to the point that "a staggering 5,000" people have been killed this year.  However, local reports suggest that around 7,000 people have been murdered in gang violence throughout the year.  Hundred Killed For Practicing Black Magic
