failure to reply to a "Show Cause Notice" that was sent to him by
PTI.
According to Pakistani media, more than 55 ex-MPs including
former CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, Shaukat Ali, and Syed
Muhammad Ishtiaq Urmar have joined the party.
The decision was taken as Imran Khan's party is still struggling with its
leader facing multiple accusations and possible removal from office, and
several party officials have resigned after May 9, the date on which PTI
members destroyed the country and attacked the military. installation.
Pervez Khan Khattak said he condemned the May 9 incident, in which some of
the accused risked harsh sentences because the government and army promised to
try them in military courts.
“Pakistan's survival is very important to our own survival. The former
provincial prime minister, a key figure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa politics, said
the PTI was now completely defeated in the state.
Khattak, who was Secretary General of PTI and Chief Minister of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa under the PTI government, stepped down as President of PTI CP
shortly after the May 9 riots.
