Syrian President Assad Appreciates His Forces

On the 78th anniversary of Army Day, President Bashar al-Assad, Commander in Chief of the Syrian Army, addressed the members of his armed forces.

"Our brave armed forces, congratulations on your day as you prove year after year that you are trustworthy, guardians of the present and the future, and proudly entrust the past to your ancestors," the Syrian president said in his speech.

With proud chapters being added to the history of our Army as a result of your bravery and sacrifices, President al-Assad said, "You are the hope of the nation and an example of heroism."

According to President al-Assad, the military is in command of the nation's affairs because they have proven their worth.

"After many years of protracted and challenging wars, we have the right to be proud of our steadfastness," said President al-Assad.

"This would not have been possible without the efforts of our armed forces, who played an important and noble role in securing victory," said President al-Assad, referring to the recent victory over fighters brought in from eighty countries around the world.

The Syrian army indeed found it hard to put an end to the insurgency, but Iran, Russia, and Lebanese Hezbollah have made it possible.

The majority of Syrian land has been liberated from al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other foreign militants

Along with murdering civilians, insurgents are also attacking the sacred sites of the Prophet Muhammad's great-granddaughter and granddaughter located in Damascus.

Since 2011, the Syrian conflict has claimed the lives of about 600,000 Muslims and Christians.

The majority of Syrians are aware that the revolution was supported by the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and these countries' allies.

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). Insurgents attacked two vans in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Thursday, killing at least nine people. "The bombs were installed inside the vans; as a result of those blasts, nine people were killed and 13 were injured," Mohammad Asif Waziri, the commander of Mazar-e-Sharif, said.  The local Shi'ite community operated and used the public transportation vans, he added.  The Shiite Muslim Hazara community, a minority Muslim sect in Afghanistan, is often attacked by armed groups, including the Islamic State.  The Taliban, who seized power following NATO's withdrawal, claimed earlier this week that they had eliminated the majority of the Islamic State's presence in Afghanistan.  Despite the Taliban claims, attacks on Shia Muslims continue in many parts of the country.
