Blast Near Milad-Un-Nabi Rally In Pakistan Left 53 Martyred & Many More Wounded

A suicide bombing near the 12th Rabiul Awal procession in Balochistan's Mastung district on Friday resulted in at least 53 fatalities, including Deputy superintendent of police (DSP), and many more injuries.

The government rescue teams leaped into action as soon as they heard about the blast and ferried dead bodies and injured to the main government hospital.

According to the hospital source about 100 injured were received by their staff.

The local Mastung administration claimed that the explosion happened as people were assembling for an Eid-i-Miladun Nabi procession close to the Madina Masjid on Alfalah Road.

An onlooker informed the media that the explosion was so severe and that he could see nails and bolts strewn around the blast site.

The government preliminary reports verified the report that it was a suicide bombing. No one has claimed responsibility of attack so far, while the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan has denied any involvement.

The government officials immediately did not surface additional piece of information regarding the dead and wounded.

Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari "voiced profound grief over the loss of 53 precious lives," according to a statement issued by his Pakistan Peoples Party.

Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), Jundallah, al-Qaeda, the Haqqani network, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are among the terrorist groups fighting against Pakistan's military forces and killing innocent civilians.

These terrorist organizations emerged during the United States' battle in Afghanistan against the Taliban.

These terrorists now have tentacles in almost every city in Baluchistan.

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). Insurgents attacked two vans in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Thursday, killing at least nine people.
