Kamala Harris Under Fire For Missing Netanyahu's Speech

US Vice President Kamala Harris along with more than 80 House Democrats and at least six Democratic senators will not attend Netanyahu's speech, according to CNN. On Thursday, Kamala will be having a meeting with the head of Israel.

According to the US media, Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, has been heavily criticized by Republicans for skipping Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's joint Congressional address on Wednesday to campaign in Indiana.

James Daniel Jordan, a Republican Party member, former collegiate wrestler, and college wrestling coach, emphasized that Harris did not congratulate Netanyahu at the landing of his plane.

"You want to lead the free world, but you can't bring yourself to stand right now behind our most important and tactical ally.

The House Speaker Mike Johnson also chastised Vice President Kamala Harris for her "extraordinary" decision to skip Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress on Wednesday.

As vice president, Johnson said it was her obligation to keep an eye on joint sessions of Congress and that it would be positive for her party.

During an interview with The New York Post the night before Netanyahu's speech, Johnson said, In 2015, "President Biden, who was the vice president at the time, skipped that address just as our current vice president will be skipping the speech.
