As the deadliest flooding in 30 years hit the Valencia city of
Spain, the death toll keeps climbing.
As rescuers began their 3rd day of searching, the number of
confirmed dead exceeded 206 on Friday, with more likely.
Local officials stated Yesterday that villages and roads in
Valencia's eastern region were swamped as a result of Tuesday's torrential
rainfall.
Flooding forced the cancellation of trains to Madrid and
Barcelona, as well as the suspension of institutions and other important
services in the worst affected districts, according to officials.
