DAMASCUS, Syria- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will pay an official visit to Syria next week, according to the Arabic language newspaper.
President Raisi is expected to land in Syria on Wednesday for a two-day visit, according to Damascus-based Al-Watan newspaper.
During his visit to Damascus, Iranian President Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi will meet with Syrian President Bashar al Assad to discuss strategic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic field. If this happens, it will be the Iranian president's first trip to Syria in 12 years.
