Shaukat Ali, Syed Muhammad Ishtiaq Urmar, Pervez Khattak, former Prime Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, and most recently Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Usman Rashid have left PTI.
Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Usman Rashid, former leaders of the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Pakistan, joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Tuesday, SAMA news reported.
Jahangir Tareen, head of the IPP, enthusiastically hailed Shah's decision, emphasizing the party's commitment to pursuing policies in the best interests of the country.
According to Pakistani media, more than 55 former lawmakers joined Pervez Khattak Parliament's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party yesterday, including former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Mahmood Khan, Shaukat Ali, and Syed Muhammad Ishtiaq Urmar.
The PTI party across the country fell apart like a house of cards after the May 9 PTI workers' riots, which led to the destruction and loss of military installations and public property.
Furthermore, Usman Rasheed, President of the PTI Minority Wing Okara, and IPP Senior Chair Mian Khalid Mehmood met at the party headquarters.
Rasheed was welcomed to the party by Mehmood, who stressed the party's commitment to giving all minorities a chance in politics.
