Two Palestinians, including a Hamas member, were martyred
by Israeli troops in an attack on a West Bank refugee camp on Sunday, according
to Hamas, as Israeli attacks devastated security
positions in Gaza for the second day.
According to witnesses, Israeli soldiers attacked the Nur
Shams camp outside the West Bank town of Tulkarem in the early hours of Sunday,
triggering an hours-long firefight with Palestinian fighters.
Abu Ali, a 21-year-old man, was one of those martyred, according
to Hamas. He was affiliated with the Jihadist organization's branch.
A relative of the second victim, Abdel-Rahman Abu Dagash,
32, said he climbed onto the roof of his house to see the ongoing scene when
the sniper shot and killed him.
