A drone attack on a small US outpost in Jordan cost the lives of three US soldiers and
injured at least 34, according to US officials and local US media.
The US military informed the Media that a drone strike on a small group of US outposts in Jordan overnight resulted in the deaths of three US service personnel and the injuries of at least twenty more.
Since the beginning of the Hamas-IDF confrontation, this is the first time in three months that a drone attack in the Middle East has claimed the lives of US soldiers.
Three Americans were killed at Tower in a Jordan, close to the Syrian border, escalating the existing hazardous situation in the Middle East.
In a
statement published on Sunday, the Pentagon confirmed that a one-way drone
attack that "impacted at a base in northeast Jordan" resulted in the
deaths of three service members and the injuries of 25 others.
Many US
lawmakers responded quickly, expressing their condolences at the killings and
urging Biden to take action against the assailants.
US
President Joe Biden blamed Iran-affiliated organizations for the attack without
revealing any evidence.
