According to Istate television, Iranian security agencies apprehended 12 Suspects from 6 different provinces on Friday on suspicion of being involved in two bomb blasts that killed about 100 people attending a memorial service for a dead military leader.
The interior minister announced on Friday that numerous
suspects involved in the terrorist attack that killed and wounded 300 + people in the
Iranian city of Kerman had been taken into custody.
Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Iranian Interior
Minister Ahmad Vahidi as stating, "Some people involved in the attack
have been apprehended, and information about them will be published later by
security services."
Ahmad Vahidi continued to say that the intelligence
services' outstanding work made the terrorists' detentions possible.
Two explosions killed 88 people and injured 288 on Wednesday
at a Kerman cemetery where crowds had gathered to mark the fourth anniversary
of the killing of Soleimani by US forces, according to a government
report.

Earlier reports said two backpacks filled with explosives
were remotely detonated at the entrance to the cemetery.
According to a reliable source, the Iranian news agency IRNA
confirmed on Thursday that a suicide bomber was the cause of at least one of
the explosions in Kerman.
The source said that Security footage and other data showed
that a male suicide bomber was definitely to blame for the initial blast.
