3 Suspects Apprehended In Canada In Connection With Hardeep Singh Nijjar Murder

 Two days ago, the Canadian police announced that three Indian guys had been charged with the heinous murder of a Sikh separatist on Canadian territory.

The assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Sikh nationalist who advocated a separate state (Khalistan) in India and was considered a terrorist by India. 

In June of last year, Hardeep Singh Nijjar was slain by two guys wearing masks. 

The murder was planned by "agents of the government of India," according to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. 

The Sikh patriot Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in June, and the three men were charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder after their arrest in Edmonton, Alberta, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

 Karan Brar, 22, Kamalpreet Singh, 22, and Karanpreet Singh, 28, were not permanent residents of Canada, although having lived here for three to five years, according to police investigations. 

Hardeep Singh Nijjar was a Canadian Sikh separatist leader affiliated with the Khalistan movement, which seeks an independent Sikh state in India. 

 Born in Bharsingpura, India, on October 11, 1977, Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in Surrey, Canada, on June 18, 2023.

Terrorist Attack Kills Multiple Iranian Police Officers

Several news agencies reported that at least 11 Iranian police officers were killed in a deadly assault on a police station in the southeast Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchistan on Friday.  A police spokesperson called the act "cowardly," and the state media said that a gang of "terrorists" was responsible for the assault on a police station in  Rask City. The provincial police of Sistan and Baluchistan reported that several attackers had been killed and others were injured and taken into custody, but they did not provide an exact figure.  The Jaish e Adl group, which is known to be active in the area that borders both Pakistan and Afghanistan, reportedly claimed responsibility for the nighttime attack.
