Cyclone Remal killed at least 40 people in Bangladesh and India
over the weekend, according to reports. Around 25 persons were killed in
India's eastern Mizoram region.
Cyclone Remal hit the Bangladeshi coast on Sunday night, harming
nearly four million people and destroying thousands of homes. Storms and
plenty of rain continued to pour in the vicinity.
Reporters claimed on Sunday that the storm began traveling
across the coast in Bangladesh's southern district of Khepupara at around 8
p.m.
Emergency officials and government ministers reported that at least 800,000 people had been evacuated from their houses along the coast and shifted to camps.

India and Bangladesh have provided motor boats, medical kits,
and other supplies to the people who have been affected by the
deadly Tropical Storms.
