Israeli FM Discusses Turkey's Exclusion From NATO

The Israeli Foreign Minister has called for Turkey's eviction from NATO amid Erdoğan's warning of an incursion

Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has threatened to enter Israel, as it has done in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.

Israel Katz, Israel's foreign minister, has requested NATO to expel Turkey.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz directed ambassadors to swiftly interact with all NATO countries, condemning Turkey and seeking its expulsion from the alliance," the ministry said.

"Erdogan has stepped in Saddam Hussein's footsteps, threatening to destroy Israel. "He should remember what happened and how it ended," Israeli FM said.

Erdoğan said that it is absurd to compare me with former dictator Saddam Hussein.

He further added that Israeli government is targeting him because of my support for Palestinians.

NATO does not have an official procedure to suspend or expel a member, though members may freely depart.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg ridiculed the possibility of adopting such a mechanism in 2021, saying it “would never happen.”

9 Dead After Vehicles Came Under Terrorists Attack In Afghanistan

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). Insurgents attacked two vans in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Thursday, killing at least nine people. "The bombs were installed inside the vans; as a result of those blasts, nine people were killed and 13 were injured," Mohammad Asif Waziri, the commander of Mazar-e-Sharif, said. The local Shi'ite community operated and used the public transportation vans, he added. The Shiite Muslim Hazara community, a minority Muslim sect in Afghanistan, is often attacked by armed groups, including the Islamic State. The Taliban, who seized power following NATO's withdrawal, claimed earlier this week that they had eliminated the majority of the Islamic State's presence in Afghanistan. Despite the Taliban claims, attacks on Shia Muslims continue in many parts of the country.

Dozens Killed In Pakistan After A Bus Plunged Into River

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan— (Daily Post)- On Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM, a passenger coaster carrying wedding party guests from Parishing, Astore, to Chakwal went off the bridge and plummeted into the river near Thalichi. The groom and his mother are among the 26 persons who died as a result of the catastrophe. According to authorities, just 14 victims' corpses were retrieved and brought to the Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. Rescue efforts are still ongoing, and the only survivor, the wounded bride was taken to the hospital for treatment. The coaster hosted 27 people, and only the bride survived rest of the others drowned in deep water. The Pakistani town of Thalichi is situated in the Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan. President Mr: Asif Ali Zardari conveyed his sympathies and sadness to the victims' families.

Pakistan: Mastung Blast killed 9 people, including 5 children

On Friday, a bomb attack killed up to 9 people, five of them were children, and injured 29. Authorities informed the media that an improvised explosive device (IED) installed in a motorbike had targeted a school vehicle. The IED explosion occurred on Friday at 8:37 AM near Girls High School at Civil Hospital Chowk in the Mastung district of Balochistan. A day earlier, the Mastung bomb killed nine people, including five children, and injured 29 others. Regarding the incident, a terrorism case has been lodged. Pakistan's Acting President Yousuf Raza Gilani, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vehemently denounced the Mustang explosion. PM and Bilawal conveyed their sadness and anguish over the police officers and schoolchildren's martyrdom.
