Israeli media said that two IDF soldiers were killed
and 16 others were wounded in Hezbollah's latest attack.
The attack was launched in reaction to Israel's most recent cyberattacks, which left hundreds injured and 32 dead including 12 Hezbollah men.
Hezbollah attacked the Israeli border region and checkpoint on Thursday.
The Israel Defense Forces named one of the slain
troops as 43-year-old Maj. Nael Fwarsy, who headed a tactical brigade. Nael
Fwarsy was killed in a drone attack.
Another IDF man, Keren, a combat soldier in the
Galilee Panhandle's Ramim Ridge area, was killed by anti-tank fire at a border
checkpoint.
