MIDDLE EAST NEWS — (Daily Post) - Since October of last
year, at least 3,103 Lebanese people have been martyred in Israeli strikes,
Lebanon's Ministry of Health has said.
Israel has martyred at least 3,103 people and injured 13,856 more
since October of last year, according to the Al Jazeera news agency, which
cited the Ministry of Health in Lebanon report.
Furthermore, Lebanon's Ministry of Health said on Thursday that
Israeli attacks have killed at least 53 people and injured 161 others in the
past 24 hours.
Three Lebanese soldiers, three Lebanese civilians, and five
Malaysian troops from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were
injured in an Israeli strike in Sidon, the main city in south Lebanon.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been at war with the Islamic Resistance Movement, often known as Hamas, a Palestinian nationalist Sunni Islamist political organization, and Hezbollah, a Shia resistance force.
5 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 16 others injured in the Israeli military's recent ground assault on southern Lebanon, the IDF stated in a statement on Thursday.
Ziad Makary, the Lebanese Minister of Information, addressed the conference in spet 2024 and emphasized that the government condemns the Israeli attacks and that the world community is also responsible for it.
The world community's passive stance toward Israeli
atrocities encouraged such attacks.
Hezbollah started firing into Israel on October 8, 2023, in an
attempt to support Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
