Israeli Aerial Assault Kills 7 In Dmasucus

7 people, including children and women, were killed in an Israeli aerial assault that struck a dwellings in the Mezzah region in Damascus.  On Tuesday, Israel launched several missiles at a residential apartment in Damascus' heavily populated Mezzah district. The source added that efforts are underway to rescue people beneath the rubble.  Israel has been committing war crimes against the Sovereign states for a long time.  On September 1, 2024, Israel carried out direct strikes on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, killing a large number of innocents, including diplomats and military generals, according to Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, who was seen visiting the site alongside Syria's Interior Minister. Scores of Syrians, Iranians and Lebanese have been killed as a result of Israel's airstrikes against Syria and Lebanon since 2011.

9 Dead After Vehicles Came Under Terrorists Attack In Afghanistan

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). Insurgents attacked two vans in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif on Thursday, killing at least nine people. "The bombs were installed inside the vans; as a result of those blasts, nine people were killed and 13 were injured," Mohammad Asif Waziri, the commander of Mazar-e-Sharif, said.  The local Shi'ite community operated and used the public transportation vans, he added.  The Shiite Muslim Hazara community, a minority Muslim sect in Afghanistan, is often attacked by armed groups, including the Islamic State.  The Taliban, who seized power following NATO's withdrawal, claimed earlier this week that they had eliminated the majority of the Islamic State's presence in Afghanistan.  Despite the Taliban claims, attacks on Shia Muslims continue in many parts of the country.

Syria: Gunmen Kill 7 People In Syria's Deir Az Zor province

Ramadan gathering attacked during iftar by ISIS armed group It killed seven people and injured four others in eastern Syria Syria, (Daily Post). According to Arab media suspected ISIL (ISIS) shooters killed seven people and injured four others during a Ramadan-iftar gathering in Deir Az Zor province in northeast Syria. Nouri Hamish, a former spokesman for the US-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, hosted an iftar dinner on Wednesday, marking the end of the fast, at his home in Abu Khashab.  According to the Euphrates Post, the Syrian news organization Iftar party organizer was one of the dead.  The assailants arrived on motorbikes and withdrew after being tackled by villagers, reports said. 

USA: Mississippi Shooting Left 5 Dead

Four people were killed in gun violence in Mississippi, and a possible suspect was found dead The USA,(Daily Post). Dozens are killed & injured by electrocution in India

India,(Daily Post). During a religious procession at a temple in Tamil Nadu, southern India, at least 11 people were killed and 15 others were injured.   According to police, the accident occurred when a vehicle collided with a high transmission power line in the Thanjavur district.  A local Hindu had organized the temple parade.   According to an Indian newspaper, electrical sparks caused a truck full of devotees to catch fire.   Two children were among the dead. Iraqi Military Eliminated Scores Of ISIL Terrorists

Iraq,(Daily Post). According to local Iraqi media in Mosul, the Iraqi army has killed more than 40 ISIL terrorists during the recent operations in southern Mosul. Iraqi news site Al-Maaloma reported that the Iraqi army carried out an operation against the radical elements in southern Mosul, Nineveh province, killing more than 40 fighters from ISIS.  Previously, Iraqi sources claimed that the ISIS leader had been sentenced to death by an Iraqi court last year for killing and plotting attacks on pilgrims. Another ISIL leader was arrested in Baghdad by the Iraqi People's Mobilization Forces during a security operation last year.  When Iraqi forces overran Mosul city in July 2017, Al-Abadi declared victory over the Islamic State. However, some surviving elements are sowing turmoil and havoc in an attempt to infiltrate security forces and citizens in order to expand influence in Iraq and Syria’s critical constituencies.  

New York : 2 killed After Mercy Flight air ambulance crash

New York ,(Daily Post).  A Mercy Flight air ambulance crashed during a test flight in New York, killing two people.   Mercy Flight Air Ambulance helicopter crashed near Elba, New York on Tuesday afternoon, killing two people.   According to the New York State Police, troops were dispatched to the crash site near Norton Road in Genesee County at 1 p.m.   The police reported that the plane hit electrical wires while descending, but they do not believe this is the cause of the incident. "We do not know why the helicopter went down at the moment," Major Eugene Staneshevsky told a news conference near the crash site on Tuesday afternoon.    The accident is currently being investigated by police.  As per local authorities, they are investigating whether anyone else was injured as a result of the incident.  The investigation could last a month or longer. The chopper's engine is thought to have failed at the time of the  mishap .

Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan Set To Visit Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia,(Daily Post). Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president, will visit Saudi Arabia in near future.  After years of tension with Saudi Arabia over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi journalist Erdogan plans to visit Saudi Arabia later this week, the Middle East Eye newspaper said, citing three sources.  The trip was scheduled to take place on Thursday, but sources said on the condition of anonymity that it has been rescheduled until later this month. Earlier this month, Turkey decided to extradite the murderers of Jamal Khashoggi to Saudi Arabia for trial.

2 Chinese language teachers among 4 Killed In Karachi University Blast

Karachi,(Daily Post). At least four people were killed in a bombing outside the University of Karachi's commerce department on Tuesday, according to the Sindh police chief. Sindh Police Inspector-General,  Mushtaq Ahmed Meher confirmed the death toll during a phone call with Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.  The blast occurred around 2:40 p.m. outside the commerce department, according to a handout from the CM's office. Two Chinese nationals were among the four people killed in a blast at Karachi University, and several more critically injured were reported.  A van was seen on television engulfed in flames, with plumes of smoke rising from its charred remains.  According to the Balochistan Liberation Army, the suicide bomber's name was Shari Baluch or Bramsh, and she was the group's first female bomber. Iran praises its latest talks with Saudi Arabia

Iran, KSA,(Daily Post). Over 100 Killed As Fighting B/W Rival Tribes Rages In Sudan

Sudan,(Daily Post). Fighting between Arabs and non-Arabs has killed at least 168 people in Sudan's war-torn Darfur area, NGO said.   On Sunday, the Chief Coordinator of Refugees and Displaced Persons in Darfur said 98 people had also been injured in fighting in the Kreinik area of ​​West Darfur province.  He further added that clashes began on Thursday, with two people killed by unknown assailants in Kreinik, about 30 km east of Genena, West Darfur province's capital.  Armed groups attacked wounded people as they were being treated at Genena's main hospital, according to a doctor and ex-medical director at the hospital. Authorities have been urged by the International Committee of the Red Cross to secure the victim's safe entry to the hospital.

At least ten people died when a tourist boat went missing off the northern coast of the Japanese island of Hokkaido.  The search for the other 16 people on board the Kazu 1 vessel is still ongoing in the waters, according to officials.  Contact with the ill-fated boat was lost at 13:15 local time (04:15 GMT) on Saturday.  The Kazu 1 was thought to be on a three-hour excursion of the Shiretoko Peninsula.  The peninsula is located northeast of Hokkaido and was included on the 2005 World Natural Heritage List as a favorite spot to view the snowdrift.  The site is home to a unique variety of animals and plants.

France,(Daily Post).  French President Emmanuel Macron has been re-elected for the first time in 20 years. In Sunday's election in France, President Emmanuel Macron defeated his right-wing opponent Marine Le Pen by a wide margin, securing another term. After a painful campaign in which Marine Le Pen suffered a decisive defeat by 58.2 percent to 41.8 percent, according to preliminary data, he became the first French leader to win re-election in 20 years. Macron, who will address fans at a victory rally at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, won by a small margin compared to 2017, when he defeated Le Pen by 66% of the vote.  Turnout was also less than five years ago, with an absenteeism  rate of 28%. 

Blast At Oil Refinery In Nigeria Costs Hundred Lives

Nigeria,(Daily Post. More than 100 people died in an overnight explosion at an illegal oil refining depot in the Nigerian state of Rivers, officials said. "Blast followed by a deadly blaze in an illegal oil hiding place directly affected over 110 unknown workers," said the state's oil commissioner.  Nigerian authorities did not immediately release the names of those who were killed. Due to joblessness in the Niger Delta, illegal oil refining has become a lucrative business, but with disastrous results.  Oil leaks from fields, streams, and lagoons have already contaminated the vast areas, resulting in several fatal accidents.  In October 2021, a blast and fire at an illegal petroleum processing plant in Nigeria killed around 25 workers in the same province . 

Mosque Bombing In Afghanistan Left 33 Dead

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). A bomb hit the Afghanistan mosque and religious teaching school, martyring at least 33 people, according to a Taliban official. Zabihullah Mujahid, the deputy minister of information said that an explosion in Imam Saheb, Kunduz province, also injured 43 people, many of whom are the students. Although no one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.  However, the Islamic State of Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for several of Friday's bombings. At least 12 Shiite prayers were killed and others wounded in an attack on a Shiite mosque north of Mazar-i-Sharif.  Mujahid referred to the attackers as "seditions and evil elements," and stated that his govt "condemned the violence."

Taliban detained ISIS militant in connection with mosque attack

AFGHANISTAN,(Daily Post). Taliban forces have arrested a suspected Islamic State (ISIS) militant who allegedly planned a bomb attack on a mosque in Afghanistan that martyred at least 13 worshipers, according to police. The attack also injured 15 people.   According to Asif Waziri, spokesman for Balkh District Police, Abdul Hamid Sangaryar was a key ISIS agent.  "He was the mastermind behind yesterday's mosque attack," Waziri told AFP.  The Islamic State had claimed responsibility for the bombing that destroyed the Seh Dekan mosque in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif on Thursday during the noon prayer.

Three spies working for the Zionist regime's Mossad spy agency have been captured in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, according to the Intelligence Ministry.  In a statement released on Wednesday, he said that the spy had been engaged in the leaking of confidential information and papers. Nigeria,(Daily Post) .  A public bus collided with a car on a highway in northern Nigeria, killing 20 people, including children, the Road Safety Agency said Tuesday.  “The cause of the accident was overspeeding.  One driver was injured, 20 people were burned to death, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) state headquarters in Bauchi said in a statement.  Many of the roads in Africa's most populous country are poorly maintained and have potholes, leading to many deaths each year. 

10 Martyred, 60 Hurt As Blast Hit Mosque In Afghanistan

Afghanistan, (Daily Post). A powerful explosion  rattled  the largest Shia mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, claiming 10 lives and injuring 60 more.  As per local news, the explosion claimed the lives of 10 worshipers and injured 60 others. The number of victims is expected to be even higher than the initial figures, according to the report. According to reports, the explosion occurred at 1 p.m.  The roads leading to the incident site have been blocked by Taliban security forces. The Director of the Ali Sinai Balkhi hospital said that a large number of victims of the explosion of the Shiite mosque were hospitalized. The exact figure of victims transported to the hospital was could not be ascertained. 

China Urged Sweden To Respect Religious Belief Of Muslims

Beijing, (Daily Post). China slammed Sweden on Wednesday after a recent incident involving the burning of copies of the Muslim holy book Quran. ISIL Killed 4 People In Diyala Governorate

Shamal Abdulrahman, head of security in the neighboring Kokis sub-district, said at least four people were killed and two others injured in an attack by Islamic State gunmen on mobilization forces tribes (Hashd al-Ashayiri) in Kashkaul, a  village in Qaratapa sub-district in Diyala. The incident was reported by the Iraqi media on Tuesday.  According to the same source, other locals came to aid Hashd al-aid, Ashayiris, but their car was detonated by an improvised explosive device (IED).  The number of people killed or injured in the blast is unknown yet. 

School Blasts Rattle Kabul City, Killing & Wounding 21

As per a Kabul police source, at least six people were killed after 3 explosions hit schools in Dasht-e-Barchi, Hazara area. Afghanistan,(Daily Post). At least 6 people were killed after explosions shook up two schools in Kabul on Wednesday, local reports said.  According to local reports, the blasts killed 6 students and injured 15 more.  Officials have still to comment on the number of fatalities.  As per eyewitnesses, the first explosion occurred near the Mumtaz Education Center.   It was followed by two consecutive explosions near Abdul Rahim Shahid High School in the same locality.   No one has claimed credit for the deadly attacks on schools as of now. The attack occurs less than two weeks after a bombing in Kabul that killed one person and injured up to 60 others. The injured pupils were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.  

African Joint Army Claims To Have Neutralized 10 High-profile Terrorists
