Israeli Aerial Assault Kills 7 In Dmasucus

7 people, including children and women, were killed in an Israeli aerial assault that struck a dwellings in the Mezzah region in Damascus.  On Tuesday, Israel launched several missiles at a residential apartment in Damascus' heavily populated Mezzah district. The source added that efforts are underway to rescue people beneath the rubble.  Israel has been committing war crimes against the Sovereign states for a long time.  On September 1, 2024, Israel carried out direct strikes on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, killing a large number of innocents, including diplomats and military generals, according to Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, who was seen visiting the site alongside Syria's Interior Minister. Scores of Syrians, Iranians and Lebanese have been killed as a result of Israel's airstrikes against Syria and Lebanon since 2011.

Israeli FM Discusses Turkey's Exclusion From NATO

The Israeli Foreign Minister has called for Turkey's eviction from NATO amid ErdoÄŸan's warning of an incursion Turkey's president Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan has threatened to enter Israel, as it has done in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.  Israel Katz, Israel's foreign minister, has requested NATO to expel Turkey.  Foreign Minister Israel Katz directed ambassadors to swiftly interact with all NATO countries, condemning Turkey and seeking its expulsion from the alliance," the ministry said. Landslides Killed Dozens In India's Southern Region

Roaring landslides in the southern Indian state of Kerala have killed at least 93 people, provincial officials said Tuesday. Multiple landslides have trapped hundreds more people, and extensive search and rescue efforts have begun in Wayanad rural district in Kerala state to find and rescue those who have been stuck.  According to the officials' press conference, rescue operations are hampered by heavy rains and the collapse of a significant road bridge.  Authorities have also reported that around seventy injured people are receiving adequate care in hospitals and that rescuers have saved more than a hundred lives.  The Indian government officials did not immediately reveal any other information about the deceased, such as their names or identities.

Dozen Killed After Israeli-Controlled Golan Heights Came Under Attack

Hezbollah, a Lebanese group, has denied being involved in an attack on a soccer field in Majdal Shams, a Druze community. As many as 12 people, including children, were killed in an unknown attack on a football field in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday.  A rocket struck a football field in a Druze-Arab community on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, killing 12 children and young guys & injuring 30 more.  Druze-Arabs are not Zionists, and the Golan Heights offensive targeted the Druze-Arab people.   The missile struck a playground in Majdal Shams, a Druze community, that was full of children and teens. Israel held "the Hezbollah " accountable for the missile attack and has threatened repercussions. According to the Russian media, the meeting between Asad and Putin happened on Wednesday.  Restoring relations between Damascus and Ankara might be one of the topics of conversation.  A few weeks ago Erdogan said: "Now we have reached such a point that as soon as Bashar al-Assad takes a step towards mending relations with Turkey, we will replicate the same approach.  Erdogan's initial support for rebel groups against Assad in 2011 led to dire relations between the two presidents, who both have said that they are prepared to fix them. Kamala Harris Under Fire For Missing Netanyahu's Speech

US Vice President Kamala Harris along with more than 80 House Democrats and at least six Democratic senators will not attend Netanyahu's speech, according to CNN. On Thursday, Kamala will be having a meeting with the head of Israel. According to the US media, Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, has been heavily criticized by Republicans for skipping Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's joint Congressional address on Wednesday to campaign in Indiana. Fatah and Hamas Signed Beijing Declaration

Representatives of competing Palestinian groups Fatah and Hamas signed the Beijing accord to fortify their ties and end years of discord.  Besides Fatah and Hamas, 12 other Palestinian factions met international media and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi.  Establishing conditions for a coalition government after the war was China's main goal in extending invitations to Palestinian factions to visit Beijing.  The Beijing Declaration was signed after several rounds of unity debates between groups in China's capital from July 21 to July 23.  Hussam Badran, a prominent Hamas leader, stated that the most important aspect of the Beijing Declaration is the establishment of a Palestinian national unity government to handle Palestinian problems. Zionists Ask For Early Polls Following Netanyahu's Gaza Raids

Protests were held in numerous cities in occupied Palestine on Saturday calling for a prisoner exchange with Palestinian factions in Gaza, as well as early elections, according to local media.    Several thousand people marched across occupied Palestine, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Caesarea, asking for a deal that would result in the freeing of Gaza detainees, Anadolu Agency reported.   Protesters in Tel Aviv waved placards accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of lacking concern about the fate of Gaza's detainees.   Israel says that the Palestinian Resistance group Hamas currently has approximately 120 Zionists in Gaza.   Hundreds of people marched near Haifa's Horev Junction, holding banners with the same demands. New Zealand Expressed Concern About Knesset's Opposition To Forming Of Palestinian State

Winston Raymond Peters, New Zealand's Foreign Minister said Saturday that we are " profoundly dismayed" by Israel's Knesset voting against the creation of a Palestinian state. The Knesset is Israel's house of representatives.     "Only a political solution, where two states can live side by side in peace and security, will end the cycle of violence," the Foreign Ministry of New Zealand said in a brief Twitter statement.   "We must not lose focus of this objective," Winston Raymond Peters added.  New Zealand has been an important ally of the Palestinians. China: Bridge Collapses, Claiming 11 Lives and Scores Missing

Following severe rains and flooding, a highway bridge partially fell apart killing 11 people in  Shangluo City, China.  According to Xinhua News Agency, five vehicles were pulled out of the river after the bridge in  Shangluo City collapsed  at 8:40 p.m. on Friday.  Xinhua further reported that dozens of people were missing after the bridge collapsed following heavy rains and sudden flooding.  After the downing of the highway bridge, China's Central Television, the country's main television broadcaster (CCTV), reported that more than 30 people and a dozen cars were missing.  Because of the dire weather, the rescue operation was extended to Sunday morning.  From January 2000 to March 2012, 157 bridges were crumbled in China, China's public media  reported , excluding earthquake-related incidents.  The research showed that natural calamities are mostly responsible for the bridge's collapse.  A primary cause, aside from earthquakes, is particularly the flood.  Even w

Belgium, Brussels —  Ursula von der Leyen secured a second term as head of the European Commission on Thursday, 18 July 2024  with 401 votes.  In the ballot, 284 members of the 720-member European Parliament voted against von der Leyen's bid for a five-year extension as head of the EU's powerful executive body, while 401 voted in her favor.  Von der Leyen, of the centre-right European People's Party, received 401 votes in a secret ballot, well above the 361 votes required to be elected, the UK-based Reuters news agency reported.  For a second term, Ursula von der Leyen will continue to lead the Commission as Boss. She was assigned by MEPs for the first time in July 2019.

16 Killed In Blaze At Shopping Center In China

At least 16 people were killed after a fire broke out at a shopping center in the Sichuan Province of China on Wednesday.   The 14-story shopping mall is located in a high-tech region in Zigong City, Sichuan Province.  The retail store, offices, restaurants, and movie theater are all built in the shopping mall, and the fire started at the bottom of the building, according to state broadcaster CCTV.  According to Chinese news agency Xinhua, the incident occurred at 5.50 p.m. on Wednesday.  Quickly responding to a fire call, firefighters and rescuers evacuated 75 people safely.  Rescuers used  water cannons  and firefighter drones to put out the flames.  Initial inquiries suggest that ongoing work within the shopping complex was the cause of the building's fire.  The most frequent causes of these fires are carelessness and damaged gas or electrical lines Chinese officials said. 

China To Host Hamas and Fatah Officials In July

Senior representatives of the occupied West Bank-based Fatah Movement and Gaza-based Hamas will meet in China next week, according to an article published in the New York Times.  Beijing to settle the disputes between these two factions that have been in rivalry for many years. Analysts speculate that a reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah may increase the likelihood of postwar Gazan rule. Previous attempts to arbitrate between the two factions, including a conference in Beijing in April, did not produce substantial outcomes.  Hamas and Fatah have decided to meet in Beijing this month in "a renewed bid for reconciliation," according to Israeli media outlets.  The Hamas delegation is "to be headed by its political chief Ismail Haniyeh," while the Fatah representation "will be led by deputy head Mahmud Alul," according to sources in Fatah. Pakistani Military Fend Off Terrorists Attack On Bannu Cantt

A deadly attack took place at a Bannu military cantonment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, which is situated  330 kilometers east of Islamabad. On July 15, 2024, the Pakistani military repulsed a terrorist attack on the Bannu cantonment.  Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) sources said that an organized group of terrorists entered the cantonment using a vehicle equipped with explosives. Terrorists slammed a vehicle equipped with explosives into one of the cantonment's walls, according to the ISPR preliminary report.  Nevertheless, the troops thwarted the terrorists' attempt to gain entry to the building. Lula da Silva Criticises Israeli Attack On Gaza

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticized the Israeli bombardment that martyred at least 99 Palestinians in a humanitarian  declared "safe zone" in southern Gaza. Nigeria - School Building Collapsed; Leaving 52 Dead & Wounded

According to media reports, around 22 pupils aged 14 to 15 were pronounced dead after a school building collapsed in Plateau State on Friday.  A double-story school building packed with 54 children collapsed in Plateau state, triggering an incident. The school administration claimed that 154 kids were trapped beneath the rubble, while police confirmed that 132 of them had been rescued and were receiving medical treatment. The police chief has verified that 22 students have died, according to the Associate Press.  At least twelve students died previously reported by Nigerian media. Rescue men and townspeople worked together to extract a trapped student from the ruins of the collapsed school building. 

Nepal — Scores Killed After Buses Plunged Into River

Nepal, Kathmandu  — At least 65 including 7 Indians were killed when buses packed with passengers crashed in the river.  According to the local media, two buses carrying about 65 people got swept into the Trishuli River by a landslide.  The accident occurred in central Nepal on Friday. One of the buses involved in the accident was traveling from Kathmandu to Gaur, while the other was returning to Kathmandu from Birgunj. The unfortunate vehicles were struck by a landslide in the Simaltal area in  Chitwan district , some 120 kilometers west of the capital Kathmandu, at 3 a.m. on Friday, according to Nepla's government-run media. The Nepali Army took swift action to save innocent lives after learning of the tragedy. A fast search-and-rescue operation is underway.

US Targets West Bank's Outposts and Extremist Settlers In Series Of Fresh Sanctions

The United States of America on Thursday imposed its 6th round of sanctions on Israeli extremists and unlawful West Bank outposts. Three persons and five entities were targeted with sanctions, including the lehava group, which opposes marriage between Jews and non-Jews and is an ally of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.  Itamar Ben Gvir was already targeted by the Biden administration sanctions earlier this year. The lehava group is anti-miscegenation, opposing marriages between Jews and non-Jews, which are outlawed by Orthodox Jewish law. The group has more than 10,000 members.     Most organizations and people targeted by the Biden administration sanctions have ties to those sanctioned in the prior four rounds. Pakistani Military Killed Highly Required Terrorists In IBO

Jeep Plummeted Into Neelum River, Killing 13

Thirteen passengers were killed on  Wednesday  when a passenger vehicle plummeted into the Neelum River  in Neelum Valley.  Addressing the accident, authorities reported that although the police and rescue teams were sent to the location, the relief efforts faced many challenges due to bad rainy weather. However, according to rescue officials, four people were hurt and were taken to the hospital, while 13 people in the jeep that plunged into the Neelam River were killed. The mother and the two kids who were hurt while cutting grass at the scene were also been taken to the hospital, according to the police. Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari expressed heartfelt sadness over the loss of valuable lives in the Neelum Valley of Muzaffarabad district, the capital city of Azad Kashmir.   The President sent his condolences to the families of the deceased.

Landslide Kills 12 In Indonesia

12 gold mine workers were killed on Sunday when heavy rains caused a landslide.  According to local media, an accident occurred on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, at an illegal gold mine in Bone Bolango region of Gorontalo province.  One of the eyewitnesses told the media on Monday that approximately eighteen more workers remain stuck in the mine and are thought to be dead. Nearly three dozen workers were buried in the mine. Five workers were saved following a protracted struggle, the media outlet claimed. 

MBS Wants Healthy Relations With Iran

Muhammad bin Salman al Saud, the King and Crown Prince  of Saudi Arabia  congratulated Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on getting elected President of Iran. "I reiterate my dedication to growing and deepening the relations between Islamic countries and people and serve our mutual interests," Irna News Agency noted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as saying. Five Indian Soldiers Killed In Ladakh Region

Bus Accident In Turkey Claimed Nine lives

TURKEY  —  A bus slammed into an overhead bridge's pillar, killing at least 9 and leaving 26 others injured.  The incident occurred on Friday, killing nine passengers on board and wounding at least 26, according to the province governor. The tragedy occurred when the bus departed from Izmir in western Turkey for Agri in the country's east, authorities said. The injured passengers were transported to hospitals in Ankara and Polatli, but there was no information available regarding their current condition. Israel Kills Nearly 100 Professors In Gaza

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported on Sunday that Israel killed at least 94 university professors hundreds of teachers, and thousands of pupils after it extended attacks on the Gaza Strip.  IDF targeted educational, scientific, and intellectual personalities in the strip in deliberate and specific airstrikes on their homes without prior notice, a Geneva-based NGO documented.  The preliminary data discloses that there is no explanation or obvious reason for attacking these personalities.  The Palestinian Education Ministry, situated in Gaza claimed that at least 4,327 students and 231 teachers and administrators had died in Israel's brutal onslaughts.

Haniyeh: Hamas Wants Comprehensive Ceasefire
