Israeli Aerial Assault Kills 7 In Dmasucus

7 people, including children and women, were killed in an Israeli aerial assault that struck a dwellings in the Mezzah region in Damascus.  On Tuesday, Israel launched several missiles at a residential apartment in Damascus' heavily populated Mezzah district. The source added that efforts are underway to rescue people beneath the rubble.  Israel has been committing war crimes against the Sovereign states for a long time.  On September 1, 2024, Israel carried out direct strikes on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, killing a large number of innocents, including diplomats and military generals, according to Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, who was seen visiting the site alongside Syria's Interior Minister. 45 Martyred, Many More Wounded When Bomber Attacked JUI-F Gathering In Bajur

A suicide bomber blew up himself at Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) gathering in Pakistan's northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bajaur region on Sunday evening, killing at least 45 people and wounding more than 200, according to police and rescue teams.  The horrible incident that terrified hundreds occurred at a Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) conference in the Bajaur district of Malakand division, close to the Afghan's Kunar province border.  To halt the killing spree, Bajaur officials announced a state of emergency in and around the district, as well as at hospitals, where the majority of the injured have been moved.  Pakistani army leaped into action when they heard about the blast and ferried the critical injured to the Peshwar via military helicopters.   No other piece of information about the deceased and injured was immediately released by the Pakistani government authorities.   Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari "voiced profound grief over the loss of precious lives,"

Karachi Port Receives First Shipment Of Russian Wheat

KARACHI, Pakistan -  The first wheat cargo ship from Russia docked at Karachi port carrying 1,000 tons of wheat, according to Pakistani media reports.  It is expected that the price of flour would drop sharply, which is excellent news for the people. According to multiple media reports, this is the first wheat shipment from Russia that was requested by the private sector.  Prior to the wheat shipment, the Pakistani government had received delivery of Russian 100,000 metric tons of crude oil in June 2023, the oil and wheat shipments demonstrate Pakistan's efforts to balance relations with Moscow and the West.  Moscow wheat was purchased at $279.50 per tonne, as per SAMMA news.  Pakistan saw a significant increase in wheat imports of US$1.05 billion in the July-April 2022-23 fiscal year.  According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), this figure represents a significant increase compared to US$795 million worth of wheat imports in the same period of the previous fiscal year. 

Dozens Of Nigerians Killed In Gun Violence

ABUJA,  Nigeria  —  At least 34 people, including seven soldiers, were killed in a bandits attack in Nigeria's northwestern state of Zamfara,  vigilante chairman and villagers said.  Deadly gun violence erupted in the village of Dan Gulbi in Maru province on Monday afternoon, local sources told Reuters news agency.  One of the eyewitnesses stated that "27 villagers died in the attack while seven soldiers were ambushed on their way to assist the victims of the attack."  The Zamfara state police did not immediately reply to calls seeking evidence of the incident people said.  Since the last 3 years, gangs of highly trained bandits have wreaked havoc across Nigeria's northwest, kidnapping thousands, murdering hundreds, and making it hazardous to travel by road in certain places.  When unknown terrorists attacked the convoy in late May 2023, they brutally killed 4 members of the US Embassy in Nigeria and kidnapped 3 others in Anambra state.  Speaking on behalf

Opposition parties in the Indian parliament launched a vote of no confidence against the  BJP  government on Wednesday, forcing the prime minister to address concerns over ethnic strife in the northeastern state.   The Lok Sabha accepted a resolution of no-confidence against the Narendra Modi government on Wednesday, putting pressure on the government over the Manipur subject.  This will be the 28th no-confidence vote in India's independent history.   A vote of no confidence is unlikely to affect the stability of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which commands a 301-member majority in the 542-seat lower house of parliament. On Tuesday, highly experienced and senior diplomat Wang Yi was named China's new foreign minister, replacing Qing Gan.  Without providing further details, the authorities said  Qing Gan  was absent from work due to health concerns.  His meeting with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, scheduled for July 4, was later postponed by China without explanation, sparking speculation. However, the lack of information from his ministry led to rumors that he was being punished for political reasons or for an extramarital affair. Somalia Suicide Attack: Dozens Killed In Suicide Attack On Military Academy In Mogadishu

According to military sources, a suicide bomber killed at least 30 troops and injured scores more at a military academy in the Somali capital of Mogadishu on Monday.  The suicide bomber blew himself up while the soldiers were being numbered in line, according to a military officer. 15 Killed & 19 missing After Yacht Capsized in Indonesia

JAKARTA,  Indonesia  —  After a small ferry Capsized and sank near the island of Sulawesi during the short 20-minute journey, Indonesian police recovered the bodies of 15 passengers and are searching for 19 missing, the National Search and Rescue Agency said on Monday.  Only six of the 40  passengers  on board were believed to have survived the Sunday night crash, according to the police. "Every one of the victims has been identified and handed over to their families, while the survivors are now being treated at local hospitals," a local search and rescue agency branch correspondent confirmed.  There is still no clear explanation for the sinking of the boat that occurred around midnight that night. Following Severe Rains Scores Of People Perished In Afghanistan

 KABUL, Afghanistan  —  At least 30 people were killed in Afghanistan when floods caused by torrential rainfall demolished homes, the Ministry of Emergency said in a statement.  Ministry spokesman Mohammad Rahimi said 26 deaths occurred in Jalrez district, 46 km (29 miles) east of Kabul when rain washed away hundreds of mud-built houses.  He said that at least 40 more were missing and that at least four others were killed in Kabul.  Furthermore, he pointed out that more than 70 persons were hurt in flood-affected districts.  Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Afghan Taliban, issued a statement of condolences and asked humanitarian organizations and the government in Kabul to help the grieving and victim families.  The previous year's monsoon flooding in Afghanistan killed more than 200 people and destroyed hundreds of homes and animals shelters.

Israeli troops brutally killed 2 innocent Palestinian teenagers in the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian report said on Friday. Shariq Jamal, DIG Lahore, Found Dead In His Flat

  I SLAMABAD, Pakistan —   Sharik Jamal Khan, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Lahore, was found dead in a private apartment in the luxurious DHA area of Lahaore early on Saturday morning, local reports claimed.  Police said that after immediately transferring his body to DHA National Hospital, authorities decided to take it to Jinnah Hospital for an autopsy.  When the news was received, a police team led by a senior officer hurried to the hospital to oversee the inquiry.  The deceased widow was also present in the hospital, according to the local media reports. Pakistan: Bus Packed With Tourists Fell In Gorge Leaving 17 Dead & Wounded

According to the Security forces statement, a bus transporting tourists fell into a ravine on the Karakorum Highway near the Talichi area of Baltistan's Diamer Gilgit district on Sunday, killing at least 5  persons and injuring 12.  The SSP Diamer confirmed the death toll and the number of injured and said the dead included three women, a child, and a man.  The official added that the vehicle was traveling from Lahore to Gilgit. US supplies cluster munitions to Ukraine

 The Ukrainian armed forces have received cluster bombs from the United States, a senior Pentagon official said on Thursday.
